Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Engineer Technologist to join our growing technical team. This role involves working closely with our sales, product, and operations teams to support the evaluation, installation, and performance optimization of solar systems and related technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for the selection, design, and integration of solar energy products
- Assist in the preparation of system layouts, technical drawings, and product specifications
- Perform product testing, quality control, and performance analysis
- Stay updated with industry standards, compliance regulations, and emerging technologies
- Liaise with clients and suppliers to provide expert technical consultation
- Support pre-sales and post-sales engineering activities and documentation
- Contribute to R&D efforts and product improvement initiatives
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a technical or engineering role within the solar or electrical industry
- Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, and battery storage technologies
- Proficiency in CAD software, PV design tools (e.g., PVSyst, Helioscope), and Microsoft Office
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
