We have an exciting opportunity for highly motivated Chief Technology Officer to join our team on a full-time basis.

Reporting to the Chief Information Officer (CIO), the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) will play an integral part of the team driving change and transformation across the group technology platforms.

Using your customer, technology and business acumen to support the creation of truly connected user experiences, you will be directly responsible for integrating business needs and requirements into IT planning and operations and deliver contemporary cybersecurity services and outcomes across the end- to-end portfolio.

Our ideal candidate is collaborative and a commercially astute thinker with demonstrable ability to develop, lead and implement a broad range of company-wide contemporary ICT strategies, programs, policies and operational practices to successfully support the strategic objectives of the business.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Design, develop and maintenance of the ICT infrastructure and business application support.
  2. Formulation of Strategic plans for the ongoing development and continual improvement of Hofmann Engineering’s communication, technology and digital requirements.
  3. Establishment of a comprehensive risk-based enterprise cyber and information security program to ensure integrity, confidentiality and availably of data so that threats to the business are discovered and remediated minimising the risk to the business.
  4. Resolve conflict of design across all architecture domains and drive consistency, reusability and completeness of architecture.
  5. Drive continuous improvement of the ICT systems and align system maturity against industry practices and business requirements.
  6. Regularly monitor and report on information security, risk and governance to ensure Hofmann Engineering’s ICT systems and infrastructure are operating as planned.
  7. Collaborating with business stakeholders and teams to have a complete understanding of the business processes and the technology that supports the business requirements both for current solutions and de?ning future vision.
  8. Oversee the operation of various ICT platforms including but not limited to stability, availability, growth and innovation.
  9. Leading, developing and inspiring the technology team in the delivery of architecture, infrastructure and IT operations to deliver ‘fit for purpose’ technology solutions and service operations for our people and customers.
  10. Developing and implementing our future-state technology solutions, data governance, integration model and the architectural roadmap enabling the business to achieve its strategic growth targets.
  11. Define, implement and maintain technology procedures, standards, and deliver continuous improvement of Hofmann Engineering’s IT service management processes including incident, request, change, problem and knowledge management.
  12. Lead the enterprise architecture function along with specialists in key domains (e.g. front-end, back-end, data, infrastructure etc.) and develop a standardised architecture governance framework.

The successful applicant will have:

  1. A Master’s Degree in Technology (M. Tech): Software Engineering A Bachelor of Engineering (B.E): Computer Science 8+ years demonstrated experience in a similar role
  2. Advanced experience in C#, *******, ******* MVC, ******* Core, SQL and Angular systems Advanced experience in web and mobile app development Experience with ERP systems (Syteline) is essential
  3. Experience in Jira is desirable
  4. Familiarisation with DISP and ISO27000
  5. Experience in IT architecture and infrastructure design, management and operation Experience in software and web development
  6. Advance experience in DevOps including deep understanding on CI/CD Pipelines, Source Code Management, etc.
  7. Experience of publishing Mobile Apps on Google Play Store and Apple App Store The ability to build software end-to-end of the stack with different domains
  8. Knowledge of IT cybersecurity encryption methods, data protection, risk and compliance.
  9. The ability to push the boundaries of technology in a highly evolving organisation High-level experience in collaborating with cross functional development teams and business units globally to achieve company results.
