As we continue to expand, we are seeking a skilled and proactive Engineering Technologist to support our manufacturing operations, process improvements, and technological advancements in caravan production.
The Opportunity
This role is ideal for an Engineering Technologist with experience in manufacturing machinery, production process optimization, and engineering design modifications. You will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient operations, continuous process improvements, and quality assurance in our production facility.

Salary: $76,000 - $78,000 + Superannuation
Employment Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, modify, and improve machinery settings, production processes, and plant configurations to achieve high-quality manufacturing outcomes.
- Manage customer-specific production projects, ensuring that plant, parts, and machinery align with client specifications.
- Prepare and maintain detailed engineering documentation, including specifications, machinery plans, and process modifications for each project.
- Oversee adjustments, modifications, or new installations of plant and machinery, ensuring smooth production runs.
- Conduct cost analysis and optimization studies for new production setups and ongoing manufacturing activities.
- Arrange for required machinery parts, materials, and services in collaboration with the Production Manager to maintain operational efficiency.Continuously assess machine efficiency and suitability, recommending upgrades or modifications as needed.
- Ensure that all manufacturing procedures comply with engineering principles, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Work closely with operators, engineers, and production personnel to maintain production standards and provide technical expertise.Perform testing procedures, review test reports and material certifications, and ensure compliance with quality assurance protocols.
- Oversee best-practice handling and storage of production inputs, equipment, and waste management procedures.
- Lead the installation, commissioning, and calibration of new manufacturing equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
- Stay updated with emerging industry technologies, assess their applicability, and make recommendations for implementation.
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications & Skills
- Degree in Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in manufacturing, engineering processes, or production optimization.
- Strong knowledge of machinery design, plant operations, and manufacturing technologies.
- Proficiency in CAD software, technical drawings, and engineering modifications.
- Experience in cost management, efficiency optimization, and process engineering.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
