To help manage our growing operations and vehicle network, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Fleet Manager to lead the way in overseeing fleet usage, maintenance, and logistical planning.

Position: Fleet Manager – Full-Time
Salary: $76,000 – $80,000 + Superannuation

Your Role
As Fleet Manager, you’ll take ownership of the entire vehicle lifecycle – from procurement and compliance to repairs and driver scheduling. You’ll play a central role in ensuring our vehicles are operating safely, cost-effectively, and in line with our service commitments.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the vehicle fleet, including scheduling, dispatch, and route planning
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs, ensuring all vehicles are roadworthy and compliant
- Monitor fleet performance, fuel usage, and repair costs, reporting on KPIs and identifying efficiency improvements
- Ensure compliance with vehicle licensing, registration, insurance, and regulatory requirements
- Liaise with mechanics, service providers, and insurers to coordinate repairs and manage downtime
- Manage driver rosters, safety checks, training, and compliance with transport legislation
- Maintain detailed fleet records including service history, incident reports, and inspection logs
- Support procurement decisions by assisting in vehicle acquisitions, leasing, and disposals
- Contribute to overall business performance by improving fleet cost efficiency and operational readiness
What You’ll Bring
- 1-2 years of experience in fleet, transport, or logistics management
- AQF Diploma or higher in a highly relevant field of study such as logistics, transport management, shipping and logistics, freight and business management etc.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance schedules, safety checks, and compliance standards
- Excellent organisational and scheduling skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and solve problems on the go
- Solid understanding of road transport legislation and vehicle safety standards
- Proficiency in using fleet management software and Microsoft Office tools
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proactive leadership style
- Full, unrestricted driver’s licence (MR/HR licence is a plus)
