About the Role:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Motor Mechanic to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and skilled individual to work in a modern, clean, and friendly environment with access to the latest tools and diagnostic equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in engines and components
2. Dismantle, repair, and reassemble vehicle engines and parts
3. Perform scheduled services and logbook maintenance to manufacturer standards
4. Replace worn or defective parts using appropriate tools and materials
5. Conduct roadworthy inspections and issue certificates where qualified
6. Use diagnostic tools to test and repair electronic systems
7. Respond to breakdown service calls when necessary
8. Ensure compliance with OHS and environmental safety standards

Skills & Requirements:

1. Certificate III or IV in Automotive Mechanical Diagnosis (AQF)
2. Proven experience working with a wide range of vehicle brands, especially European makes
3. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
4. Ability to read and interpret technical service manuals
5. Experience using modern diagnostic tools and software
6. Strong understanding of workshop safety procedures and environmental regulations
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
8. A current driver’s licence

Desirable:

1. Roadworthy Certificate Issuer qualification
2. Experience in handling vehicle breakdown service calls
