The role

Firesafe are looking for a Construction Project Manager to manage the delivery of projects within our Division. This role will be based in our Head Office in Bibra Lake.

Duties/ Responsibilities

·Plan, schedule and coordinate the delivery of projects on time and on budget

·Constantly overcome new obstacles to achieve results that set high standard for others

·Provide technical review and sign off on special hazard system design prior to fabrication or material ordering and delivery.

·developing tenders and contract bids

·establishing and managing project plans to ensure alignment with program strategic goals and project outcomes

·Assist with development of project control processes, procedures and tools

·Plan and assign well defined projects, tasks and activities

·Accountable for the communication, including performance updates and target achievements, with the Business Unit Manager

·Provide effective coaching and access for training to assist team members improve their skills and extend their professional growth

·Ensure your own safety and health at work and that of your work mates

Skills and Experience

1. Demonstrated experience working within a construction environment, including experience in project, earned value (EVM) and change management processes
2. Developed experience using industry standard cost and scheduling software packages
3. Ability to work in a team environment
4. High level communication, influencing and negotiation skills
5. Autonomy to make decisions and solve problems
6. Professional demeanour
