Project Manager (Technology) Role:
Azar Transport is looking to employ a full time ICT Project Manager to coordinate and manage our financial and technical systems integration and oversee our systems maintenance management. With ongoing support as manager of technology services as technology evolves and systems require regular software updates and advances. The successful applicant will be required to plan, manage, organise, lead and deliver ICT projects to meet the business needs and its expansion strategy.
Our aim is to have all our technical systems integrated and adopt new technologies and processes for increased efficiency and performance, a greater customer experience and satisfaction, improved services and truck drivers’ delivery.
We are looking to implement a number of new initiatives to ensure we have dynamic route planning software to give us the ability to precise customer delivery notifications and real-time updates. The Project Manager will be responsible for optimising the usage of GPS to automate, integrate and process reporting such as fuel tax requirements and other related financial reporting and reconciliation. They will also be responsible for revamping the job invoicing module from the Azar Transport portal to MYOB and implementing a centralized scalable CRM system that improves managing communication and customer interactions to integrate with our core applications/ platforms.
Key responsibilities:
·Investigating requirements from the directors and office staff to set the parameters of integration projects and ensure we have a high-level technical solution.
·Managing the technical vendor selection, including RFP preparation and evaluation.
·Developing the route optimisation and planning (GPS navigation systems), automation of fuel tax credits claims and related financial reporting, revamp the job invoicing integration app and MYOB, and implement CRM solution.
·Oversee integration efforts, alignment of architecture with project requirements and that the technical direction supports project goals and coordinate seamless data migration and integrations.
·Ensuring all systems can communicate together, with no down time for the business operation.
·Ensuring deadlines are met and rolled out in a timely manner within budget.
·Coordinating and managing the integration project from project initiation to completion, along with future technology roll outs and maintenance of systems and contracts.
Main Duties:
·The successful applicant will be required to plan, organise, direct, control and coordinate the technology strategy, plan and operation of the roll out to ensure the infrastructure supports our organisation's overall operations and priorities.
·Liaising with different teams to identify requirements, scope and objectives and advise on available technologies.
·Planning, executing, monitoring, controlling and closing projects.
·Manage whole project timeline, ensuring delivery of outcomes on time, within scope and on budget.
· Prepare estimation of information and communication technology goals including cost and project timelines.
· Negotiate the contracts for the new solutions and app suppliers to develop the requirements, including design, authentication and security requirements, integrations, access, backend storing of data, failover.
· Liaise with the different teams to ensure system configuration aligns with defined business processes.
· Follow up on project tasks, identify and manage risks, monitor and control resources, report progress, and present dashboards to the directors.
· Manage roll out of integration and provision of user training for approximately 50 staff.
Qualification and Skills required for the position:
·Previous experience in Project Management field, at least 7 years
·Previous experience in Banking/Finance, at least 5 years
·Previous experience in Transportation and Logistics field, at least 1 year
·Previous experience in resourcing management and contract negotiation
·Business background and experience
·Sound knowledge of MS enterprise project management
·Sound knowledge of MS Project
·Customer service skills and relevant experience
·Have commercial sophistication and awareness
·Good interpersonal skills and be able to work in a team environment
·Have problem solving and negotiating skills
·Be highly organised and able to manage various tasks at any one time
