On behalf of our client, Gujjar Construction Pty Ltd T/A Elante Homes, we are seeking a highly motivated and organized Office Manager to join their dynamic construction and property development team. Located in Rouse Hill, NSW, Elante Homes specializes in high-quality residential construction, custom home design, and project management services primarily focused on Sydney’s Northwest and Southwest regions. With a commitment to delivering high-quality craftsmanship and superior customer service, the company has established a strong reputation in the industry.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Office Manager to oversee and streamline the day-to-day operations of the business. Reporting directly to senior management, the successful candidate will lead administrative activities, coordinate staff, and implement systems and procedures that support the company’s goals.

The role requires a proactive leader with exceptional organizational skills and a strong understanding of office management in a professional services environment, preferably in construction or property development. The Office Manager will play a critical role in ensuring smooth workflows and high service standards across all aspects of the business.

Qualifications and Experience Requirements:

  1. Diploma or higher qualification in Business Administration, Management, or a related field OR at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
  2. Minimum of one year of experience in office management, preferably in construction, property development, or professional services.
  3. Strong understanding of compliance and administrative processes.
  4. Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  5. Proficiency in office systems and construction-related software is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Contribute to the planning and review of office services, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  2. Ensuring smooth and efficient workflow within the office, including coordination with construction managers and site supervisors.
  3. Overseeing the maintenance of accurate records, databases, and filing systems for all construction and administrative activities.
  4. Liaising with suppliers, Oversee administrative functions to ensure smooth daily operations.
  5. Manage staff assignments and monitor performance to maintain high efficiency.
  6. Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing personnel activities.
  7. Maintain and monitor office records, accounts, and documentation for compliance and accuracy.
  8. Develop and implement procedures to enhance workflow and administrative efficiency.
  9. Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
  10. Monitor payroll systems, performance reviews, and staff training requirements.
  11. Act as the primary contact for resolving administrative challenges and staff queries.
  12. Ensure adherence to relevant government legislation, company policies, and industry standards.
  13. Analyze administrative processes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
