Manage client accounts and represent Direct IT in selling a range of computer hardware, software and other ICT goods and services to industrial, business, professional and other organisations.
Main Duties:
- Develop and update database of prospective client businesses.
- Acquire and update your knowledge of Direct IT services and Direct IT’s competitors' goods and services, and market conditions
- Regularly visit prospective client businesses to establish and act on selling opportunities and retain existing clients.
- Assess customers' needs and explain the Direct IT services which will meet their needs
- Promote Direct IT’s ICT services to existing and prospective clients
- Quote and negotiate on prices and credit terms and complete contracts and record orders
- Arrange the delivery of goods, installation of equipment and the provision of services.
- Report to sales manager- Team Leader on sales made and the marketability of ICT services
- Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction with ICT services purchased, arrange modifications and resolve any problems that may arise.
- Prepare sales reports, and maintain and submit records of business expenses incurred
