Key Responsibilities:
- Upgrade and maintain existing telecommunications systems for client and internal operations.
- Evaluate customer requirements and install systems tailored to their specific communication needs.
- Perform routine system tests to ensure all components function at optimal levels.
- Conduct diagnostic testing to identify and resolve faults in problematic telecommunications systems.
- Implement temporary fixes pending more extensive repair work.
- Inspect completed wiring work, ensuring no exposed cables or unsafe installations.
- Order and manage replacement components from approved vendors.
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints efficiently and professionally.
- Install, maintain and diagnose faults in communication systems.
- Integrate networks and technologies with hardware, software, and databases.
- Document equipment details, inventory, and maintenance logs in line with company standards.
- Provide technical support and advice to clients and monitor network performance.
- Plan and develop customer access network infrastructure.
- Liaise with suppliers, service providers, and vendors while monitoring contractual compliance.
- Troubleshoot and repair complex network performance faults.
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Diploma in Telecommunications, Electronics, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year experience in a technical telecom role.
- Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding abilities.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Understanding of workplace safety and industry regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
