Key Responsibilities:

1. Upgrade and maintain existing telecommunications systems for client and internal operations.
2. Evaluate customer requirements and install systems tailored to their specific communication needs.
3. Perform routine system tests to ensure all components function at optimal levels.
4. Conduct diagnostic testing to identify and resolve faults in problematic telecommunications systems.
5. Implement temporary fixes pending more extensive repair work.
6. Inspect completed wiring work, ensuring no exposed cables or unsafe installations.
7. Order and manage replacement components from approved vendors.
8. Investigate and resolve customer complaints efficiently and professionally.
9. Install, maintain and diagnose faults in communication systems.
10. Integrate networks and technologies with hardware, software, and databases.
11. Document equipment details, inventory, and maintenance logs in line with company standards.
12. Provide technical support and advice to clients and monitor network performance.
13. Plan and develop customer access network infrastructure.
14. Liaise with suppliers, service providers, and vendors while monitoring contractual compliance.
15. Troubleshoot and repair complex network performance faults.

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

1. Diploma in Telecommunications, Electronics, or a related field.
2. Minimum 1 year experience in a technical telecom role.
3. Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding abilities.
4. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
5. Understanding of workplace safety and industry regulations.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
