Hyqualty Construction Pty Ltd is hiring is hiring a full-time Mechatronics Engineer role in Willetton, WA. The mechatronics engineer’s responsibilities include improving existing mechanical systems, developing new product concepts and prototypes, designing and testing mechanical and electronic systems, and developing various automated systems.

To be successful as a mechatronics engineer, you should be able to work within demanding timeframes and develop original, practical solutions to problems.

Key responsibilities:

Performing analysis on structural components to assist design and material selection.

Creating automated systems and the software to control them.

Design and improve automated steel cutting and fabrication systems

Generating fabrication drawings that provide precise instructions for the workshop to produce the required components.

Produce precise fabrication/shop drawings for steel structures

Developing project schedules considering client deadlines, workshop capacity, and lead times from suppliers to ensure timely completion.

Coordinate with clients, architects, and project teams to deliver effective engineering solutions

Developing design documents for mechanical parts and final products.

Collaborate with workshop and production teams to ensure quality and accuracy in manufacturing

Prepare and maintain technical documentation in accordance with Australian standards

Requirements:

BSc in mechatronics engineering or similar.

Three year working experience in a similar position.

Strong mathematical, analytical, and creative thinking skills.

Ability to work in a team or alone.

What We Offer:

Annual Salary: $75,000 – $80,000 AUD + Superannuation (based on experience)
