ICT Customer Support


Direct IT requires the services of an ICT Support Officer to accurately record, administer and manage lifecycle of assets and software licences through our ICT asset management system

This is a full time position with a base salary of circa $80-90k, plus super, being offered.

Your tasks will include:-

  1. Maintaining ICT knowledge base with system documentation, procedures and help sheets
  2. Proactively monitor system security patches and malware updates to ensure currency and correct deployment
  3. Proactively administering backup and recovery operations by maintaining and monitoring backup equipment and data
  4. Analysing backup issues and report findings to ICT Manager
  5. Undertaking some web or system development as required
  6. Regularly backup and manage the client Internet sites, ensuring security patches for modules are tested on the test site prior to updating the live site
  7. Producing and running system and network monitoring reports and utilities
  8. Accurately administrating and managing the Helpdesk system and processes
  9. Providing client support to users and ensuring that user’s requests are understood, properly documented and prioritised
  10. Responding to assigned job requests in a timely fashion and communicating with or escalate to other team members to optimise client response times
