We are looking for a skilled Retail Manager to lead our Wagga Wagga store, ensuring smooth operations and strong business performance.

Location: Wagga Wagga, NSW

Position: Full-time

Salary range: $ 70,000 to $ 80,000 per annum + superannuation

The Retail Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations, ensuring efficient service delivery, excellent customer experiences, and achievement of business objectives. This leadership role requires hands-on involvement in both customer-facing and operational areas, while fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

·Lead and manage day-to-day store operations, including take-out and delivery services, ensuring seamless, efficient, and high-quality customer experiences consistent with Crust’s brand standards.

·Monitor, analyse, and report on sales performance, budgeting, and cost control, implementing strategies to meet or exceed profitability targets.

·Manage inventory control, ordering, stock rotation, and loss prevention to optimise stock availability and minimise waste.

·Develop and implement local marketing initiatives and community engagement activities to increase brand visibility and drive sales growth.

·Recruit, train, and lead staff, providing ongoing coaching and performance management to build a motivated and customer-focused team.

·Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, workplace health and safety (WHS) standards, and all franchise operational manuals and procedures.

·Oversee point-of-sale (POS) operations, ensuring accuracy, security, and adherence to financial controls.

·Maintain high standards of store presentation, hygiene, cleanliness, and customer service quality.

About You:

  1. Diploma or higher qualification in Business, Retail Management, Hospitality, or related discipline.
  2. Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in retail management or a supervisory role, preferably within hospitality or food service.
  3. Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
  4. Proven commercial awareness with experience in sales monitoring, budgeting, and cost control.
  5. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  6. Proficiency in POS systems, Microsoft Office, and retail management software.
  7. Knowledge of inventory management, stock control, and loss prevention practices.
  8. Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
