Customer Engineer - Permanent - 18047 About the Opportunity  LRO Staffing has partnered with an exciting early-stage company in securing a critical hire. The company is championed by two incredible entrepreneurs, with a track record of success, and the mandate of ensuring reliable EV charging infrastructure. Reporting to the CEO, the Customer Engineer, will be the first hire within customer operations, and will lead this practice moving forward. Looking for a technical candidate to work closely with customers on the SaaS platform, help oversee those troubleshooting EV equipment in the field, liaise with manufacturers – ultimately influence the product through the voice of the customer. Ideal candidate is someone customer-obsessed who enjoys solving technical problems. Seeking a candidate proficient in both official languages FR/EN. Technical background in any of the following - EV charging, connectivity, industrial applications, electrical engineering etc. - will be the best fit. Duties include but are not limited to: 

• Act as the primary point of contact with customers for operations and support
• Coordination of operations activities with customers
• Oversee those troubleshooting customer issues in field
• Liaise with manufactures; internal and external stakeholder interaction
• Help with continuous improvement of solution and influence evolution of product

About You The successful candidate will have the following: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or technical background 
• 2-5 years of experience in a customer-centric technical role, involving troubleshooting and operations
• Skilled in root cause analysis
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage third-party relationships.
• Ability to travel when required 
• Fluent in French and English
• A background in EV charging, industrial applications, electrical engineering, connectivity, networking will be ideal to grasp the product

About the Job The client is located in Montreal, Quebec area (east of downtown). This is a full-time permanent position.
