Jobs & Duties:

As a valued member of our team, you’ll be responsible for:

1. Supporting children's development in alignment with EYLF principles.
2. Creating a calm, respectful, and engaging environment that nurtures each child’s social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
3. Planning and delivering developmentally appropriate, child-led activities that inspire curiosity and creativity.
4. Promoting communication skills through storytelling, reading, and play-based learning.
5. Ensuring children’s safety and wellbeing during daily routines, transitions, and play.
6. Collaborating with a diverse team to deliver tailored educational programs.
7. Upholding high standards of hygiene, safety, and regulatory compliance.
8. Building strong, respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues to foster a sense of trust and community.

Essential Qualifications:

1. Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA-recognised)
2. Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
3. Up-to-date First Aid, CPR, and Child Protection (RRHAN-EC/Child Safe Environments) certifications

Experience and Skills:

1. Minimum 1 year of experience in an early childhood education setting (part-time or full-time equivalent)
2. An inclusive and respectful approach to working with diverse families and children
3. Competency in documenting learning using digital tools and early childhood software
