ICT Support Officer


An exciting opportunity for an experienced ICT Support Officer to join our experienced and service orientated team.

  8. 40 hour work week

The core purpose of the role is developing and maintaining technical quality assurance processes, investigating and resolving system issues and testing systems to ensure optimal functionality and integrity.

Key duties include but are not limited to:

  1. Organize and undertake quality audit inspections
  2. Examen and assess systems, information and records
  3. Identify discrepancies and possible high-risk areas
  4. Ensuring compliance with standards and procedures
  5. Recommend corrective action strategies and enhancements to address non-compliance
  6. Liaise with relevant stakeholders to ensure understanding and compliance with standards, procedures and quality control activities
  7. Create technical guidance manuals, operational guides and providing training to employees
  8. Identify, assess and resolve technical issues related to set up, repairs and improvements related to computers, software, hardware, printers, operating systems and security systems.

To be successful you will need to meet the following requirements:

  1. IT related qualification
  2. Strong understanding of computer hardware, software and network principles
  3. Excellent ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively
  4. Ability to learn new technologies and adapting to changing IT environments
  5. Excellent customer service skills and user support
