Position Description:

The role of a Marketing Specialist is to assist in the development, implementation and execution of the company marketing strategy. This includes the development of marketing campaigns, strategies and activities to promote and grow usage of the Rocket Remit service, related products, events or other campaigns. This will also include support, administration and operation of computer and software and administrative systems to maintain and grow the business and support its customers. The position will take direct supervision and mentorship from your nominated supervisor. The role will provide 1st hand exposure to agile/lean start-up methodologies in a high growth environment and will expect a high degree of resilience, flexibility and aptitude. The position will therefore require the utmost honesty, integrity, cultural sensitivity and awareness and good communication skills. Aspects of the role will also include assistance with customer on-boarding, customer support, marketing and related growth activities as required.On-the-job technical training will be provided on all systems. No programming skills are required but technical aptitude is essential.

Roles and Responsibilities Marketing,

·Collaborate with the marketing team to create high-quality content across all of the company’s channels, which includes blogs, Ads, white papers, email marketing, social media posts and web pages.

·Build the content marketing calendar and improve the social media presence.

·Implement company marketing strategies in accordance with agreed plans

·Work with the team to achieve company growth goals

·Execute and implement marketing-related tasks

·Use of Digital and offline channels

·Manage content and communication to customers

·Assist with customer-facing support where required

· Promote content across social networks, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, and other social media channels as required.

Experience

·3 – 5 years’ experience in-house or in an agency

·Experience across social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram & YouTube

·Experience with standard email marketing platforms

·Extremely organised and able to multi-task

·A positive, proactive person with initiative

·Able to work as part of a team or on your own

Key Skills

·Previous experience as a Content Executive, with proven examples

·Understand the importance of tone of voice

·Excellent written and verbal communication

·Outstanding attention to detail

·Have a passion for writing content and data analytics

·Be creative

·A positive, can-do attitude

Qualifications

·MBA in Marketing

·Diploma in Digital Marketing

Job Type: Full-time permanent 38 Hours PW

Salary: AUD 77000/+Superannuation PA
