The Role

We are looking for a full-time Civil Engineering Draftsperson to join our expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong eye for detail, AutoCAD proficiency, and a sound understanding of civil construction practices.

Key Responsibilities

1. Utilize AutoCAD and associated software to meticulously prepare and refine civil engineering drawings, sketches, plans, and specifications.
2. Perform on-site inspections, and lend support to site investigations and data gathering activities.
3. Guarantee that all drawings align with customer requirements, adhere to construction standards, and comply with relevant statutory regulations.
4. Demonstrate the ability to work autonomously with limited supervision.
5. Collaborate closely with engineers, on-site teams, and clients to effectively address technical challenges.
6. Calculate material quantities and contribute to project cost estimation efforts.
7. Maintain a high level of drafting precision by paying close attention to every detail.
8. Oversee the documentation process and ensure proper control of completed drawings.

About You

? Proficient in AutoCAD or similar drafting software

? Knowledge of civil engineering concepts and construction practices

? Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical data

? Strong communication and problem-solving skills

? Capable of working independently and within a team environment

? Experience in construction fieldwork or laboratory testing is advantageous
