SDP Australia Pty Ltd is currently seeking a full-time Civil drafter to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced draftsperson who has a keen eye for detail and a solid understanding of civil construction practices. You will play a key role in producing accurate technical documentation and supporting the delivery of civil engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities

1. Prepare and update detailed technical drawings for civil engineering projects using AutoCAD and related software.
2. Review site data, surveys, and specifications to ensure accuracy and feasibility of drafted plans.
3. Produce high-quality civil drawings in compliance with industry and company standards.
4. Interpret engineering computations and adjust drawings accordingly.
5. Support the development and maintenance of drafting procedures and standards.
6. Work closely with engineers and project teams to ensure all deliverables meet project requirements and deadlines.
7. Estimate material quantities and prepare associated cost data based on engineering drawings.
8. Collect, analyze, and interpret engineering data to support design and documentation processes.

About You

1. Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or other civil design software.
2. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting and documentation.
3. Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
4. Capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting tight deadlines.
5. Excellent communication and coordination skills.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities in a design context.
