The Opportunity

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled IT Technician to support the technology needs of our Swan Hill facility.

This role is essential in maintaining the IT systems that support our meat processing operations, logistics, and administration functions.

Key Duties Include:

1. Providing first-level support for hardware, software, and network issues across the site
2. Installing, maintaining, and upgrading computers, servers, printers, and mobile devices
3. Monitoring and managing backups, security updates, and system health
4. Supporting production systems, warehouse management systems, and RF scanning devices
5. Assisting in system improvements, project implementations, and IT training
6. Maintaining accurate records of assets, incidents, and system changes

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. Relevant qualifications in Information Technology (Certificate IV or higher preferred)
2. Proven experience in IT support roles, preferably within industrial, manufacturing, or logistics sectors
3. Good knowledge of Windows OS, networking fundamentals, and basic server administration
4. Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-focused mindset
5. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
6. Positive attitude, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills
