Human Resource Adviser

We are currently seeking a Human Resource Adviser to join us. The ideal candidate will possess strong professional knowledge and substantial experience in HR advisory roles, particularly within dynamic and fast-paced environments. A solid understanding of Australian workplace practices is highly desirable, including experience in compensation design, workforce budgeting, and HR data analysis. Candidates with a global mindset and proven ability to navigate cross-cultural communication and management will be highly regarded.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Location: Cranbourne West, VIC

Key responsibilities:

1. Oversee candidate acquisition in the dental field, through various recruitment media platforms.

2. Conduct initial interviews with suitable candidates and participate in the appointment process for potential employees.

3. Evaluate and update job descriptions.

4. Deal with all areas of employee relations including grievances, capability, disciplinaries, probation reviews, flexible work requests, conflict resolution, absence management start to finish.

5. Update HR policies in line with current legislation and informing staff about changes.

6. Use HR software to input and compile data on employees and updating the records regularly.

7. Maintain accurate HR records and prepare reports on key metrics.

8. Deliver employee training, performance feedback, and cultural alignment in a diverse workforce setting.

9. Support the payroll process by providing relevant employee data, including new hires, terminations, and contract changes.

10. Provide opportunities to upskill line managers, using a variety of different methods

11. Support projects to deliver the People Agenda as appropriate.

12. Ongoing support to the wider HR team as required

13. Identify and suggest opportunities to drive the impact, value and credibility of the People function, continually striving to improve.

Position Requirement:

1. A bachelor’s or master’s degree in human resources or a related field such as labor relations.

2. A minimum of 5 years’ proven work experience in human resources.

3. Working knowledge of HR systems and software.

4. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with people at different levels.

5. Updated knowledge of recruitment strategies and employment legislation.

6. The ability to research, analyze, and make logical decisions within a given timeframe.
