Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Clerk to efficiently input, manage, and maintain data across our systems. The ideal candidate has excellent typing skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately enter data into databases, spreadsheets, and systems.
- Review data for errors, inconsistencies, or missing information and correct as needed.
- Maintain and update records regularly to ensure data integrity.
- Perform routine backups and file management tasks.
- Organize paperwork and documents for data entry or scanning.
- Communicate with other departments to gather and verify required information.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive data.
- Follow company procedures and data entry best practices.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional computer training or certification is a plus.
- Proven experience as a data entry clerk or similar position.
- Fast typing skills (at least 40 WPM) with a high level of accuracy.
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and data programs.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with CRM systems or database software.
- Basic understanding of administrative and clerical procedures.
