About the role
As a Functional Consultant, you will serve as a bridge between business needs and WorkForce Software solutions, ensuring that client requirements are effectively translated into functional design documents. You will work closely with stakeholders to analyse business processes, identify areas for improvement, and recommend tailored solutions. By collaborating with Project Managers and cross-functional teams, you will help deliver high-quality implementations that align with business objectives. Your role will also involve guiding clients through various phases of the implementation including Planning, Design, System Configuration, Testing, Cutover, Deployment and adoption to ensure successful project outcomes can be achieved.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with stakeholders and 3rd parties to gather and analyse business requirements and processes.
- Document and translate business needs into functional specifications.
- Collaborate with Application Consultants and Integration Engineers to configure and tailor solutions to meet client requirements.
- Conduct testing and manage defect resolution to ensure a successful project go-live.
- Prepare Test Strategies to suite a client’s needs
- Prepare and facilitate Training to End Users
- Engage and facilitate project actions with WorkForce Software Product, Enablement Services, Cloud Services and Post Go-Live Support Teams
- Work closely with Project Managers to align project deliverables with client expectations and project goals.
Experience (Essential)
- This role requires a proactive individual who can manage multiple responsibilities and contribute to the successful delivery of client projects.
- 6+ Years Experience in HR, Payroll & Time Management
- Direct Experience with Workforce Software Implementation/s for Time and Attendance
- Proven experience in a functional consulting or client-side role.
- Strong Leadership skills and experience in requirements gathering and documentation.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Testing phases and defect management processes.
Full End-to-End project implementations including:
- Planning
- Requirements Gathering and Design
- Build and Unit Testing
- Validation & Testing - System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing, Parallel Run and Comparison, Regression Testing.
- Cutover & Business Readiness
- Hypercare & Support
Implementing Human Capital Management systems for the following modules:
- Core HR
- Time & Attendance Management
- Leave Management
- Rostering
- Payroll
Experience implementing and using the following Software solutions:
- SAP ECC
- SAP SuccessFactors – Employee Central
- SAP SuccessFactors - Employee Central Payroll
- WorkForce Software – Time & Attendance
Experience (Desirable)
- Experience and exposure to other integrations with 3rd Party systems
- Experience with SAP Finance & Chris 21
- Reporting, Analytics and BI Tools
- Change Management
- Process mapping
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources
Key Requirements
- Client facing travel periodically required.
- Work from home as required with time zone considerations for team and customers.
- Position based in QLD (Would consider interstate applications as well)
- Return to Office based on 1-2 days per week in the Brisbane Office, this allocation could be revised annually or as required per project needs.
