Senior Ruby on Rails Developer - Permanent - 18141 About the Opportunity  A well-established, Canadian-owned leader in the aerospace and defence domain is looking for a Senior Ruby on Rails Developer to join their growing R&D group. Reporting to the Software Development Manager, this person will design and develop robust, scalable RoR web applications contributing to the entire stack from back-end to front-end. With over 30 years of history, this well-established, global player continues to supplement the next phase of their growth. Although this company offers a competitive compensation package, they are rather known for their innovative, mission-critical solutions and global brand. This organization employs a hybrid model involving three days/week in-office, thus, only candidates local to Ottawa will be considered. About You The successful candidate will have the following:

• Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Software/Computer Engineering Mathematics or equivalent
• 5+ years of Ruby on Rails (RoR) web development experience in a full-stack capacity utilizing Javascript, HTML, CSS, etc. on the front-end
• Strong experience with relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL, as well as Docker and containerization
• Experience with Go/Golang is a strong bonus 
• Ability to obtain secret level security clearance in Canada
