We are seeking qualified Class A CDL truck drivers with experience driving dump trucks and side dumps to join our team. As a truck driver you’ll be hauling aggregate materials from local sand and gravel pits to our jobsites as well as moving equipment from job to job. In addition to truck driving responsibilities, you may also be required to assist crews with manual labor and/or equipment operations as needed.

Required Skills and Experience
- Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Ability to follow instructions and execute tasks
- At least 2 years similar truck driving experience
- Candidate is required to have knowledge of federal motor carrier rules and regulations
- Ability to effectively conduct daily pre-trip inspections on truck and trailers and troubleshoot minor truck repairs
- Must be safety oriented
- Ability to effectively communicate and work well with others
- Must be able to pass a drug test
- Must have current medical examination card
- Ability to utilize a tablet for timecard and material hauling entry

Responsibilities
• Transport materials or equipment from one location to another
• Daily pre-trip inspections of truck/trailer per DOT regulations
• Minor maintenance on truck/trailer including routine greasing and ability to recognize maintenance issues
• Perform all work in accordance with applicable rules and regulations of the company handbook
• Follow OSHA Construction, General Industry & DOT regulations and adhere to Cayton Excavation, Inc. safety manual and adapt to safety regulations as necessary. Ensure safe working conditions.
• Job duties may include travel and may require extended hours including weekends
