Learn Computer programming exchange for light carpentry work


NO PROGRAMMING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. Learn programming to get very high paying career. TRADE FOR ongoing computer programming lessons, and will loan you a development ready laptop if you need it, and anything else you need (4k second monitor for example)! I need weekend and evening house organization/cleaning help and yard work including carpentry throughout 2025. I have all tools for carpentry. Only skills desired are light carpentry skills and drywall patching. 1 hour of your work, traded forone hour of programming lessons from myself (and my coding partner in some cases) to become a corporate computer programmer. We both regularly bill over $75/hour and are very good teachers and coder. Will only pick one candidate of those that apply. Trade is 1:1 which is quite a bargain given my rates and experience and streamlined teaching techniques! Cleanup includes re-organization of garage and huge basement and some outside work. Need at least 40 hours of work initially to start in exchange for 40 hours of coding lessons and mentoring. If both parties are happy it can continue from there beyond 40 hours of work and trade that if person impresses me. Of course will teach, assign homework and back you up technically in jobs you take on 1:1 hourly trade basis. No prior experience required will teach total beginner or someone who knows a little any of these concepts and give them hands on projects. Enough to learn a lot about corporate programming and go professional as consultant or get a full time job. Here are topics I throughly teach: * Web Development Front End: Javascript, JSON, Typescript, HTML 5, CSS, Mobile First, Edge coding. * Programming Middle Tier and Backend, REST/API, Console, Desktop Apps: C# .net Core, ASP.net MVC, Visual Studio, VSCcode. * iOS and iPhone/iPad apps: Swift and XCode. Other platforms as well. * Programming Disciplines: Architecture, Refactoring, Design Patterns, Debugging/Logging, Open Source frameworks and libraries, Securing Code and Data, * Databases: Sql, RDMBS, ACID, Data Access code, Query and Performance Optimization * NoSQL databases: Hadoop, Redis, others! What they are and how to code them. * CMS and E-commerce Frameworks: Wordpress, Wu Commerce, CMS systems like DotNetNuke/Evoq. * Automated Testing: Unit Testing, Continuous Integration Testing, Performance Testing. * Consulting & Full Time Job Acquisition skills: How to find, interview, negotiate pay for and keep consulting or full time jobs. SCRUM. Code versioning and repositories starting with Git. * Supporting computer skills: Remote Access, VPNS, OS management and reliable backups, computer upgrade and repair/recovery of laptops/desktops if desired. I am a programmer with 40 years of consulting experience taking 6-12 month contracts that typically get extended and are guaranteed 40 hour weeks but often become 50-60 hour weeks . Typical rates are $75/hour though have made much more in certain situations. I love to teach and was a world famous programming teacher in 1990s teaching Web programming worldwide.
