Syncopation AI, a startup based in Palo Alto, CA, leveraging cutting-edge AI and computer vision technology to deliver patient safety solutions. AI areas include: implementing computer vision and multi-modal models for patient fall detection; developing computer vision application logic including processing, serving, and inferencing; performing ongoing testing and analysis of existing solutions and continuously optimizing for speed, accuracy, and user experience. Internals will have the opportunity to work in programming and model orchestration. Requirements: Working on a Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science with concentration in AI/ML/Data Science with at least 1 year programming experience working with Python or similar language. Preferred education/experience working with one or more of the following: TensorFlow, Pytorch, Experience/Use of Hugginface, Ollama, Visual Studio, Google Colab, Jupyter Notebook and GitHub. LlamaIndex and LangChain model-orchestration tools. Training Open Source models using LoRA, QLoRa and PEFT. Worked with ViTs and multimodal models. Used popular LLMS - ChatGPT, Mistral, Llama and Llava. Used OpenCV, Yolo… Looking for an individual with strong technical skills and eagerness to learn AI technologies. Will provide training and mentorship. We are also looking for communications and marketing background graduates. We are self funded and with the response we have and the computing costs that are involved to run the internship we will not be able to pay for internship at this time.
