Syncopation AI, a startup based in Palo Alto, CA, leverages cutting-edge AI and computer vision technology to deliver patient safety solutions. AI areas include: implementing computer vision and multi-modal models for patient fall detection; developing computer vision application logic including processing, serving, and inferencing; performing ongoing testing and analysis of existing solutions and continuously optimizing for speed, accuracy, and user experience. Internals will have the opportunity to work in programming and model orchestration. Requirements: Working on a Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science with concentration in AI/ML/Data Science with at least 1 year programming experience working with Python or similar language. Preferred education/experience working with one or more of the following: TensorFlow, Pytorch, Experience/Use of Hugginface, Ollama, Visual Studio, Google Colab, Jupyter Notebook and GitHub. LlamaIndex and LangChain model-orchestration tools. Training Open Source models using LoRA, QLoRa, PEFD. Worked with ViTs and multimodal models. Used popular LLMS - ChatGPT, Mistral, Llama and Llava. Used OpenCV, Yolo… Looking for an individual with strong technical skills and eagerness to learn AI technologies. Will provide training and mentorship.
