Full Stack Web Developer (Hybrid) - Contract - 17027 About the Opportunity  Our reputable Ottawa based client has an Immediate requirement for a Full Stack Web Developer to join their team. This is a great opportunity to be part of a well-established Organization that is embarking on multiple long-term strategic projects. Our client is looking to add several additions to their team and the selected candidates will be working in small teams on a handful of web application related programs. The systems developed are used on many different platforms and help to display real time data. Mission critical. Duties include but are not limited to: 
  • Design/develop front-end & back-end web software components using agile practice
  • Customer interaction 
  • Full software development lifecycle – requirements through to delivery
  • Help with project scope definition 
About You The successful candidate will have the following:
  • A Canadian Secret clearance or eligibility to obtain one
  • A post-secondary degree or diploma in a field related to Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience
  • 3+ years’ experience in software development with a focus on web-based components
  • Front end experience with React, Redux and experience in Linux environments
  • Experience developing microservices Typescript / NodeJS
  • Experience with RESTful / WebSocket based APIs 
  • Ability to work onsite 1 – 2 days per week
