Job Description - Senior Optimizely Web Developer

Project Description:

• CPS seeks to contract with a highly experienced Optimizely Web Developer to work with in-house developers to program custom templates and theme able blocks, analyse and troubleshoot existing code, and provide guidance on best practices. This is a part-time (4 hours a day, Monday - Friday) Fully Remote Position. Vendors in good standing (fully executed contract and an active CPS vendor number) may submit 1 candidate's resume for consideration. This engagement has the potential to be extended, based on priorities and resources within the district. Vendors must adhere to their contracted rates or the bid will be deemed non-responsive; Repeat offenders could potentially be excluded from future bid opportunities. Per the Procurement Department, the current contracted RFQ hourly rates will be applied throughout the life of the project. The rate is classified as Category E: Website Administration & Design, Optimizely Web Developer

Candidate Experience

• Expertise in Optimizely Digital Experience Cloud Platform, React, JavaScript, JQuery, CSS3,
• HTML 5, SASS, Webkit, Webpack, Microsoft Azure, and Azure DevOps.
• Working knowledge of, C#, ASP.NET, MVC (Razor Engine), SQL Server, Continuous
• Integration, Automated Testing, TeamCity and Octopus.

• Write clean, optimized, well-commented and easily digestible code
• Strong debugging, problem solving and investigative skills
• Write technical documentation, if needed
• Bachelor's degree in computer science (or equivalent)
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience
• Minimum of 2 years Optimizely/Episerver experience

Developer will work Remotely on their own equipment. Developer will be provided with a virtual

machine with all of the software necessary to perform the job. Developer will remote into the VM

daily to perform the work.
